WHAT:  Designing for Civic Impact

WHERE:  ArtSpace Mt. Baker Lofts Community Room, 2915 Rainier Ave. S, Seattle, WA 98144

WHEN:  September 20th, 2pm – 5pm

We are thrilled to bring a signature Mt. Baker Hub Alliance event to the Station Area again this year! Join us for a celebration of our new mural and to learn about transit improvements in the Station Area. The mural was designed with the concepts of transit and climate issues in mind. We are going to engage with these topics during an interactive session, with discussion stations on topics like upcoming transit projects, Accessible Mt. Baker, and urban design ideas. At each station, you will have the opportunity to comment, share your ideas, and participate in the planning process. You have a voice in the future of our neighborhood!

The main activities will be from 2pm – 3:30pm, during which time Franklin High School students will be attending the event. We ask you to join us with your thinking and engaging caps on, ready to participate in a thoughtful discussion and encourage the students to do the same. This is an exciting opportunity to not only share your voice, but to foster the next generation to do the same. As we have shared over the recent months, we are working to expand our relationship with Franklin High School by supporting the students through projects like the mural and this event. Please join us in supporting our youth!
