The City of Seattle’s Office of Planning and Community Development (OPCD) is asking for our members to help identify community priorities! Over the past few months, our local government agencies working in Mt. Baker have partnered with the Urban Land Institute (ULI) to help identify recommendations and next steps for the area. To do so, they will form a Technical Assistance Panel (TAP), comprised of primarily local experts on urban issues.

The City wants to check in with community members – us! – to ensure that they are addressing the right issues. In the survey, they list most of the major things that we are working on, like a vibrant Town Center, walkability in the Station area, and retaining our diverse small businesses. They also give you an opportunity to list other issues! This is a great chance to make sure that the City hears your voice and to influence the direction of this important next step.

Please share this survey with your friends and neighbors. But hurry! It closes on Monday, May 20th.
